I teach slow flow yoga classes focused on intentional movement and mindfulness to help you stay in the present, calm your mind and relax your body.
My aim is to create a friendly, supportive and relaxed space for us to practice yoga together. My class provides an LGBTQIA+ inclusive environment, where everyone is welcome and can feel safe to be themselves. I teach body-positive yoga, that is accessible for people of all shapes, sizes, and abilities.
Who is it for?
I take a personalised approach to teaching yoga so you can practice at your unique level, in a way that works for you. Even if you are a complete beginner.
Together we'll work on improving your strength and range of mobility, whatever your current levels may be. You don't have to be physically active or flexible to practice yoga.
It is a common misconception that yoga is for the young and flexible. Please do not buy into this. It is never too late to start. For most of us flexibility is not something you "just have" it is something you work and build with practice.
Everybody and EVERY BODY is welcome. We will not be doing gymnastics-like poses and I will give you lots of options so you can take the class at a level that is comfortable for YOU. I'd like you to enjoy the class even if you are new to yoga or have some injuries.
YOUR BODY, YOUR PRACTICE, YOUR CHOICE.
What to bring and what to wear?
You don't need fancy gear to practice yoga, just wear something comfy and bring an exercise mat with you. We tend to practice yoga barefoot; if you are not comfortable with this the best option is to wear socks specially designed for yoga so they have a good grip to avoid slipping.
Please email me at email@example.com before your first class.
